Senior Software Engineer

Netchemia is adding highly skilled Software Engineers to our rapidly growing team that is self-motivated, customer focused and results driven. In this role you will execute a strategy to develop, maintain and support features of Netchemia’s cloud-based talent management platforms for K-12 education.

Contribute your experience and expertise in delivering software solutions for K-12 education.

• Work closely with the platform architect, product director and your peer developers to design and implement state-of-the-art cloud based software using C# and VB.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Enhance existing ASP.NET cloud software and create innovative solutions to technical challenges across a full suite of products

• Work closely with other members of an Agile product team to build the best software on the market.

• BS or BA in Computer Science with a strong academic record

• 4+ Years of Experience developing web applications

• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with strong work ethic

• Experience with object-oriented programming (VB.NET, C# or Java preferred)

• Experience writing JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL

• Solid Understanding of AJAX, SQL Server or other relational databases

• Knowledge of web services, jQuery and agile development methodologies desired
